The City of Gunter follows the state regulations regarding vehicles the State of Texas describes as "unique vehicles." These vehicles are only allowed on public roads in Gunter when certain criteria are met. Unique vehicles include the following:
Golf carts
NEVs - Neighborhood Electric Vehicles
ATVs - All-Terrain Vehicles
ROVs - Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles
UTVs - Utility Vehicles
Sand Rails
Enforcement
The Gunter Police Department may issue a traffic citation to any juvenile or adult the officer believes has violated these or other regulations.
